Haunted Hayride & Shady Nights on Cemetery Street

Hosted and organized by Bluebirds for Hope, a local non-profit organization. Come out for a scary good time and scream for a cause at the 3rd Annual Haunted Hayride & Shady Nights on Cemetery Street. Dates for 2024 are October 19 & 26, with rides starting just after the sun goes down. Concessions, raffles, vendors and carnival games are available for entertainment and some non-spooky fun. The hayride is held at the Shady Dale Rodeo grounds, about a half-mile north from the intersection of Highways 142 & 83 in Shady Dale. The mile long spooky trail winds through wide open pastures with ghosts and ghouls and witches to enter into the haunted forest where you can encounter. Proceeds from the event are used to help local families in times of sudden tragedy and/or loss. In the past 3 years, the event has grown to become a yearly highlight for those who enjoy the more frightful side of life.
